This is our process:
To ensure the high quality standards required in the production of aluminium alloys our production is divided into the following processes:
Incoming goods: The raw material is weighed and classified upon arrival and materials analyses are conducted.
Preparation: In order to use the material in the best way, we sort, cut and press the raw material to best suit the next step in the process.
Melting: Melting is done in batches and we melt about 30 tonnes of raw material/batch. Smelting takes about 3-3,5 hours. The liquid metal is then poured into the refining furnace.
Refining: The refining
Packing and loading: The final step in the process is to pack and label the pallets according to customer requirements. To ensure that the material arrive at the right time we work with quality certified hauliers and freight forwarders.
